Located on the Rothiemurchus Estate in the Cairngorm National Park, approximately 7 miles to the east of Aviemore on the A951 and well sign-posted, the entrance to the private road is dominated by a bailley bridge with a locked gate on the far side (see photograph below). The route is well marked on the OS Map below, that can be panned and zoomed to show greater detail.

The gate is kept locked but you should be provided with the lock combination prior to your arrival; if not, telephone the Lodge Manager. After crossing the bridge, the lodge is 2.5 miles up the road. Please observe the speed limit of 15mph, as this both preserves the track and ensures the integrity of your vehicle. Please also be aware of walkers and bikers using the track.

ALL VISITORS REQUIRING ACCESS FOR VEHICLES MAY CONTACT THE MANAGER ON 01479 861288
